
ITINERARY OVERVIEW
July is the best time of year to witness The Great Migration on the Serengeti Plains, predator action is at its peak with sightings of cheetahs, lions, hyenas and leopards. A worthy opportunity to witness adrenalin packed hunts.
You will visit 3 destinations, the 1st being Tarangire National Park, 2nd Serengeti National Park, and finally the Ngorongoro Crater. A wildlife packed adventure with a fascinating cultural experiences with the Maasai tribe.
Day 1
Tarangire National Park
Famous for its vast numbers of elephant herds, baobab woodlands and life giving river that thousands of animals migrate to drink from during the dry season. It’s a fine start to your adventure.

- Drive approximate 130km/2 hrs. drive to Tarangire National Park
- Baobab Woodland sceneries
- Park entry clearance and proceed with game drive
- Big elephant herds
- Lunch at the picnic site
- Drive to Public Campsite for dinner and overnight stay
Day 2
Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti hosts the most extensive population of wild animals on earth and has a complex and untouched ecosystem. Serengeti means “endless plains” in the language of the Maasai, a description that the Serengeti completely lives up to. These endless plains have to be experienced to be fully appreciated!

- Drive to Serengeti
- See The Great Rift valley
- Clearance at the Ngorongoro gate
- Have a view of The Ngorongoro crater
- Drive towards The Endless Plains with views of Massai bomas
- Park entry and clearance for entry into the Serengeti National Park then proceed with game drive
- Lunch at the picnic site
- Enjoy a late afternoon game drive while driving to ??? for and overnight stay
- Watch the Sunset against the majestic Serengeti Plains and have dinner
- Nocturnal sounds (Lions, hyenas and Jackals)
Day 3
Serengeti National Park
You will enjoy a full day of following the Great Migration, and have an enchanting experience game driving across the Serengeti Plains. You’ll visit the heart of the Serengeti, Seronera Valley. This valley may be termed as the ‘classic’ Serengeti; short grass plains with different kind of wild animals ranging from the impressive lion to the naughty mongoose.

- Have breakfast and watch the Sunrise against majestic Serengeti plains
- Game drive across the Serengeti following the Great Migration
- You might witness predators (mostly lions and cheetahs) on the hunt
- Bird watching
- Lunch at the picnic site
- Proceed with game drive until late afternoon
- Drive to Public Campsite for dinner and overnight stay
- Watch the Sunset against the majestic Serengeti Plains and have dinner
- Nocturnal sounds (Mostly lions, jackals and hyenas)
Day 4
The Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Leaving the endless plains, we venture into Ngorongoro. Deep within the crater, enclosed by towering walls, you have a good chance of spotting ‘The Big 5’: Lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. For the latter two you need a bit of luck as they tend to shy away. Approximately 30,000 animals live on the crater floor!

- Have breakfast and watch the Sunrise against majestic Serengeti plains
- Game drive to the Ngorongoro Area gate clearance.
- Visit a Maasai boma for an orientation with the Maasai and witness a traditional Maasai Dance
- Descend the crater and proceed with game drive
- Spot a Black Rhino
- Picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool.
- Ascend the crater and drive to Arusha.
