Kikuletwa Hot springs otherwise known as Chemka or Maji Moto locally, is paradisiac oasis amidst the Tanzanian savannah, offering captivating, Bounty-styled views, crystal-clean waters and dense vegetation around. The oasis is a unique phenomenon – it is the only place in Tanzania (and most likely in the whole East Africa), where the groundwater actively interacted with geothermal sources, forming a number of small lakes with warm, never-stagnating water. It is the perfect place to visit after a safari adventure, to sooth the body in the therapeutic waters of the hot springs.
